Players With Most Consecutive ODI innings without a Duck

Batting has turned out to be one of the major aspects of the game in modern day Cricket. There have been a number of batsmen who were always in the knack of scoring runs in ODI cricket. Here is the list of the players with the most consecutive ODI innings without scoring a DUCK. Let’s dig deep into it.

1. Rahul Dravid (India), 120 Innings – 

Dravid was perhaps one of the most consistent player for India on all conditions. Between August, 1999 to February, 2004, he was never dismissed for a duck for 120 innings which is simply stunning. In February, 2004, he was dismissed for a duck in a match against Australia in the VB series.

2. Martin Crowe (New Zealand), 119 Innings –

The Player of the tournament of the World Cup in 1992 was sheer consistent in his batting. He was never dismissed for a duck between February, 1984 to March, 1993 in 199 innings.

3. Kepler Wessels (Australia/South Africa), 105 Innings –

Kepler Wessels was also a brilliant all-rounder during the late 80s and early 90s and played for both Australia and South Africa. From 1983 to 1994, he was never dismissed for a duck.

4. Javed Miandad (Pakistan), 96 Innings –

The former Pakistani batsman is still considered as one of the best batsmen for Pakistan. He was a sheer aggressive batsman and from December, 1986 to December,1992 he was never dismissed for a duck.

5. Richie Richardson (West Indies), 92 Innings –

The former opening batsman of West Indies does get included in the list. He was never dismissed for a duck from 1990 to 1996.

6. Mohammad Yousuf (Asia/ Pakistan), 92 Innings –

He was indeed a brilliant middle order batsman for Pakistan and was never dismissed for a duck from 2005 to 2010 when he retired from international cricket.

7. AB de Villiers (South Africa), 90 Innings –

The South African ODI captain does make himself in the list with 90 innings without a duck from 2007 to 2013.

8. Dean Jones (Australia), 88 Innings –

The former Australian batsman was also pretty much consistent and he was never dismissed for a duck from 1985 to 1990.

9. Mike Hussey (Australia), 88 Innings –

Mr. Cricket of Australia also fits into the list. The former middle order batsman was never dismissed for a duck from 2007 to 2011.

10. Graham Gooch (England), 86 Innings –

The former English batsman, Graham Gooch was never dismissed for a duck from 1979 to 1991 for 86 consecutive innings.

11. MS Dhoni (India), 85 Innings –

The skipper of the Indian team has been a brilliant finisher of the game. Also, he was never dismissed for a duck from 2007 to August, 2010.
